We didn’t dream of starting a sandal brand. We just couldn’t ignore the flip-flops floating in rivers and washing up at shore. Cheap, cheerful, and totally unkillable. So we asked: what if we rescued them? Cleaned, shredded nd pressed into something better?

That’s how Nuoceans started. We began leading the way, by transforming discarded flip-flops into vibrant, upcycled, sandals - the iconic, colourful sole that makes us famous.
