Upper: The Coco model features straps crafted with 52% plant-based palm fibre, blended with recycled materials. It’s part of our ongoing shift toward more natural, lower-impact alternatives.

Inner: Soft-touch textile lining that keeps your feet feeling good, even after hours.

Midsole: Our iconic colourful nuoceans layer, made from 300 g of EVA foams pulled from the ocean.

Footbed: 80% recycled cork (reused from cork waste like wine stoppers etc.) with a cushioned foam layer on top.

Outsole: Recycled EVA (leftover scraps from the shoe industry) - lightweight, springy, and amazing at softening every step.

Turning ocean waste into sandals
Nuo sandals start where most products end. Discarded flip-flops recovered from the ocean are cleaned, shredded and pressed into our colourful signature soles.

We prioritise recycled materials, minimise virgin plastics and assemble everything responsibly in Spain under strict EU standards.

Upper: Clean away dirt using a damp cloth only. Allow to dry, then clean with a soft dry sponge. Do not use leather cleaner as this may damage the finish.

Insole:Use baking soda & a bit of water to create a paste. Rub onto the footbed and leave to set for an hour. Clean with a damp or dry sponge. Removes dirt, sweat and odour.

We do not recommend this product for use in water. Prolonged exposure to water can damage the product.
